ALISA BEGINS COLLEGE:)

I just dropped her off at Sunshine Preschool in Taylorsville a few years ago and now she's graduated from Murray High School and it's all a blurr!

Alisa sent foot on the grounds of the U of U the end of August to get ready for a college adventure! She was really excited to experience 'freedom' --- right! I'm still crushed...we practically 'grew' up together sharing a bathroom in our little condo. Now sharing it with my son, 15; it is, well um, much different. He doesn't steal my brush, comb, deodorant, towel, or earrings!!! Yippee for that--- any who, Alisa was back twice the first week; I think looking for money or food:) I had neither.

My Times Flies

Orange and Black - Go Raiders!!! Orange Park, FL 1975-1977. I definitely remember standing there, hardly not breathing, until they announced the Raider Marching Band and Cindy Bright or Toni Vega(drum majorettes) brought us onto the field. It was exciting for me because we were representing our Alma Motto.

Alisa 2009-09 Spartonian Drill Team/Drill Mistress for Choreography

I'm so proud of my daughter and all she has accomplished her short 18 years on this Earth. Attending Murray High School, working way too many hours as a life guard during high school, and taking on the position of Senior Captain was a tall order! She did it with 'flying colours'!

Alisa: I loved watching you grow as a dancer and a person ... responsibility, integrity, perseverance, dedication and a sense of humor has been instilled in you! Thanks for all your hard work! Love, Mom

Silly Times

Some of the best times are silliness and gut busting laughter! Check out these silly pictures...yes, we have to be pretty confident with ourselves to publish in my cyper space journal these horrible candid shots.

Derek and me after a Jazz Band concert at Riverview Junior High School --- Alisa, well I think she's wondering if we should come home!

" BACK IN FIVE"

Derek is musically talented! I knew that along time ago; he just wasn't ready to pursue a musical career. He sings backup vocal and plays electric guitar in the band. He also plays the trumpet in Jazz Band at school. Achievements: Top 10 in Battle of the Bands, May 9th, Main Street Theater, May 15th. Tomorrow the band is performing for Riverview Junior High School at the lunch festival. They even have a paid gig in Roosevelt for the July 4th festivities! Rock on!!!
